It's been a busy start to the new year, we've got half the nations of North Africa following a domino pattern after Tunisia's government tumbled, the Sudan showed that not every single political change in the continent has to end in bloodshed. Australia is proudly stearing itself towards an imitation of the USA a hundred years ago, and Silvio Berlusconi is still in power despite being accused of rape and drug dealing, on top of the usual charges of bribery, election rigging and mafia connections. And in the UK the conservatives have predictably, if somewhat ahead of schedule, fucked the economy completely. 2011 kicks last years teeth in already!
