America / Wikileaks / Insanity

Where to start with a nation that is apparently surrendering fully to brutality, aggression, xenophobia, racism and corportate greed. It's reached the stage were I can actually imagine the Civil Rights Act of 1964 getting revoked by a Republican government in a few years, a Republican government perhaps led by the most stupid (most stupid except for all the people who vote for her) woman on the planet. But lets be honest, it wouldn't make any difference which Republican it was, it's been so long since any one of them expressed an opinion that was either their own or bearing any of the hallmarks of sanity. Truly you get the feeling that the American experiment with democracy might have come full circle in fifty years time. I think our best hope is that, if the psychotic right wing does get in power, the US government goes nuts enough to use American troops against their own citizens (as Cheney drew up plans to do back in 2002) and there is a liberal backlash of vast proportions. The diet, aspirations and political opinions of a large number of the people of United States show just how hideously brainwashed and moronic that majority have become, wracked by foundless paranoia within their grotesque carcasses, ridden with disease and hostile towards any one who doesn't directly identify with them, an absolute monolith to insecurity. Pretty soon we will be able to describe the nation itself in the same way.
The fear caused by the Wikileaks stories and the raging pursuit of Julian Assange are a fine example and it will be seen to be yet another moment of complete disregard for the entire international community by the US.

Another case in point: Arizona
